Katherine Given, MD, PhD, MBA, is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon with extensive experience in the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer. She has performed more than 3,000 Mohs procedures and provides advanced care in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, including reconstructive surgery, injectables, and laser treatments. Dr. Given also treats a wide range of skin conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea.
Dr. Given earned her MD and PhD, as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She serves on the faculty at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where she teaches residents and fellows, and remains active in innovation, research, and medical education.
Dr. Given speaks several languages, including English, French, and Spanish, allowing her to connect with a diverse patient community. Outside of medicine, she is an FAA-licensed pilot and enjoys flying in her free time.
